Well this week was awesome for a lot of reasons!
I was really happy and excited and enthusiastic about
missionary work this week!
Monday we played basketball with all the missionaries going
home.. it was fun and my team did pretty good! Then that night we ate with a
member to say goodbye to Elder Miller.
Tuesday was a pretty good day! I had a really good personal
study and took a good look at myself and things I need to improve on and things I need to fix. And then went to work. That day we got to meet with Paul again
and visit 2 less actives.
Wednesday me and Elder Lydon cleaned the house and got some
house things and cleaned our room and set some goals and did some planning for
the next transfer.
Thursday; with the clean house and the spirit stronger, the
new goals and a gym membership we started off the transfer right! We worked
really hard and were happy and had fun with it!
Friday; hard work continued!
Saturday I GOT TO SEE ELDER JENKINS AGAIN!!!!! My old
companions parents came to pick him up and took us out to lunch! I love him and
will miss him so so so much!!!!
We also played volleyball with the Elders and High priests
in our ward! They were pretty good and it was a lot of fun. I started out
playing left handed and not being able to jump on 2 feet. Then they got
confident and let me play 100% haha bad mistake... especially because the net
was girls height hahah
Sunday was honestly crazy! The roads flooded it rained so
much, it was so humid, and pretty hot! But overall good day!
So this weeks crazy story:
The second day we were in the gym I was doing a cardio ab
work out. I would run 1 minute on the treadmill and then do inclined sit ups
and some like back workout thing that I don't know what it's called.
Anyways it was like on then off then on then off and I put
the equipment right by my treadmill and was always there.
Well..... Koreans are not very aware, and a lady came to my
treadmill (out of all 20 of them) and tried to walk onto mine... and I was
running, it was going 12 km/h pretty fast! She ate it and face planted.
I feel bad of course... but come on, pay attention lady!
Lets just say I was looking for an excuse not to run anyways hah;)
This week me and Elder Lydon talked a lot about
accountability. We have been a little lazy and not working as hard as we are
capable. That got me thinking about accountability. In our case, we decided to
be accountable to the Lord each night and each other each week.
I have noticed a difference as I go to God in prayer each
night and account for every thing I did that day, good and bad. It helps me see
the positive in my like and also know what and how to improve. It has helped me
tremendously to improve and be better!
Have a good week!
