Week 38

This week was pretty darn good. 

We just walked around a lot talking to people. Not much happened. No meetings. Really can't remember any highlights happening...

Sorry really nothing happened.... like just nothing. 

So one thing I did learn this week. Was from President Monson. I listened to a talk called Charity Never Faileth. I have been trying to be more charitable. For all of you who know me, if you aren't, Ryan, Andrew, Michael, Markus, Charlie, Lex or Lawson, I probably don't like you haha.... I mean that's an exaggeration, but I am just overall not a very charitable person. 

So I have been working on it. And I listened to his talk and he said this 

“I ran short of pots, and knowing how beautiful this one would be, I thought it wouldn’t mind starting in this old pail. It’s just for a little while, until I can put it out in the garden.”

Mary smiled as she imagined just such a scene in heaven. “Here’s an especially beautiful one,” God might have said when He came to the soul of the little old man. “He won’t mind starting in this small, misshapen body.” But that was long ago, and in God’s garden how tall this lovely soul must stand!3 

He is referencing an old deformed man that everyone judged and treats poorly. 

But he had a heart of gold and was a great person. 

We, especially me, judge people. We jump to conclusions, we sometimes look for the bad rather than the good. 

It really hit me that we need to love all people, no matter their appearance, or actions. Everyone is going through different things and we often can only think of ourselves. 

So I am going to work on loving people more. I'll let you guys know if it works after my mission! 

I have a long way to go, but that's why we have time on earth and time in the eternities! If it seems like it will take forever for you to be perfect don't worry, because we have forever!
