Well the days really do blend together...
This week the highlight was going to the temple in Korea for
the first time. It was a good experience and I am excited to go home so that I
can go more often. It really is a great place and I love the way I feel when I
am there.
I got to play volleyball today with Sister Earnshaw... she
played intramurals for BYU so she wasn't great but good enough to keep a ball
going back and forth so it was very fun for me!
We got to basketball proselyte which was fun. My companion
was a really good point guard in high school and Koreans aren't very physical. So
it is fun to play with them because Americans push and shove and they don't know
what to do. And Koreans aren't very tall... however they are taller than me,
but I could still jump a lot higher than them. So I would get every rebound and
My companion would drain 3's. It was a lot of fun!
Other than that we spent a lot of time with less actives
this week trying to bring them back. Trying to get them to remember how they
felt at one point in their life. It is really hard for us to see and meet
people who have fallen away. It makes me think of the story in 3 Nephi. The
people see the new star for Christ's birth. An undeniable sign, a miraculous
sign, and in 3 years they forget about it.
The same thing happens to us sometimes... for me all the
time. We have amazing spiritual experiences and forget too easily. For me sadly
it is usually the next day.
That is why it is so important to daily read your scriptures
and pray and go to church every week. We need to be constantly feeding our
testimonies, because they can slip away so quickly.
I love you all and hope you have a good week!
