Week 27

This week was really good. Ups and downs of course but the road to eternal life and happiness with God is bumpy!!

Yesterday was Easter. This has come to be my favorite holiday ever. I love Jesus Christ. Thanks to the best mother in the world I have been studying Jesus Christs last week on earth. And Thursday, the day of the suffering in Gethsemane really struck me. One thing that happened that I never thought about was when Jesus is being arrested. For those of you that don't know Peter, his chief disciple, cut someones ear off in a pointless attempt to stop what was to come. Jesus turned to Peter and says "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?"

That hit me hard. Jesus could have easily called down the powers of heaven to stop the mob. He did not have to be arrested. He did not have to die for us. He was the only person ever that didn't have to suffer, but he did for us. He did because He loves us. I know that my Redeemer lives. On Easter we celebrate His resurrection. He lives today. He guides his church, the only true church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I know it.

No crazy stories this week. No drunk people. And don't worry about North Korea I'll be a ok.

I love you all and I know God and Jesus love us too! They love us, don't worry about anything and trust them!
