Week 19

February 19, 2017

This week was super fast and a lot of fun!
Monday we played volleyball and went to a bath house. It was super awesome and really relaxing! There are some missionaries that aren't bad so it was quite fun!

On Tuesday we celebrated Valentines Day by doing missionary work! Haha is was a lot of fun. We got to do service at a mentally challenged people house? Its where handicapped people can get jobs that they can do and make money. We teach them English then help them make the boxes. I really enjoy it and love these people they make me feel so happy!

On Wednesday we taught two of our investigators. They are super fun and solid! I really like them and they are doing very well. Then after that we went to 박승호s house. Yeah haha I said house! And I guess for you people in America that is not odd at all, but in Korea houses are at least 5 million dollars! It was so HUGE and so NICE! Oh my and it was filled with the spirit. I walked in and felt like it was a house that Christ could live at. It was so clean and there was pictures of temples and Christ and it was just a really good righteous home! He is super successful and righteous man and I really enjoyed going to his house. He gave us really good advice on life. He also speaks in simple Korean so I can actually understand him! Then to close the night we sang a hymn together. And since his whole family is fluent at English they told me to pick my favorite Hymn. I chose If You could Hie to Kolob and explained that Lyric played it at my farewell and that is why it is my favorite. We sang it and I was crying and they all said they felt the spirit super strong and loved the song and that I picked the right girlfriend! Haha I love their family!

On Thursday I went on exchanges and we taught to investigators. One were hardcore Catholics and were bible bashing. They were asking us all these questions and they were so confused. They couldn't and we couldn't answer all their questions through the bible. It really made me grateful that our church has the book of Mormon. That through this book we can find answers to question and we have a better understanding of Christ and his gospel. I know the Book of Mormon is true and I am so grateful for it!

Friday we had zone conference! It was a lot of fun to see everyone and I really enjoyed my time with President. We learned a lot about the atonement and repentance. I have been studying it a lot lately and I have realized that when we understand and apply the atonement we are happier and our lives and stresses are easier! I have seen that and am so grateful for the atonement!

Saturday was a pretty plain day. We taught English, an investigator and then had to do weekly planning. But that night we shared scary ghost stories and we were all so scared we slept with Book of Mormons! Haha it was really fun!

Sunday was an ok day. I was in a Taz mood for anyone that knows what that is haha.... But there were some great things that happened! 박승호 (the person we met earlier in the week) gave a super awesome lesson and he held my hand! If you remember that holding hands is a super big sign of friendship in Korea!!!!!!!!! I was sooooo happy!!! Also I am getting pretty close with the youth of our ward and they are super cool! So that was fun. Also it rained and we were out talking with people and an old lady gave me her umbrella cause I didn't have one! It was super nice haha.

And now we are going to go to a spa again. It is apparently the best in the mission so I am super excited! Today will just be a relaxing day!

I know this church is true. This mission has been too hard on me! If I didn't know I promise I wouldn't have stayed! I questioned my testimony for a long time and I realized that I shouldn't have. I KNOW this church is true!

Love you all and have a good week!
