Wow this week was jam packed and a lot of crazy things
happened!!
First, pday we played foot volleyball for 4 hours. I am
really starting to get the hang of it! We played with old Koreans and there was
a professional player that was just mind blowingly good! wow!
Then Tuesday we set a mission record. We had a lot of time.
so we tried to set the mission record for most Book of Mormon copies given in a
day. The previous record was 44. We got 50. We had good conversations and gave
out 50 Book of Mormon copies in one day. It was exhausting, but a very
rewarding day.
The reason we did this was this; Elder Jenkins bore a strong
testimony. He told me I 100% believe if we just place Book of Mormon copies
that is someone reads it, they really will get a conformation from God it was
true and contact us. He has a powerful testimony of the Book of Moron and that
in turn has strengthened mine.
I add to that. I know and promise that if someone sincerely
reads the Book of Mormon they will know of its power and truth! I promise!
Then Wednesday we had we had another long proselyting day
and gave out 31 copies. so in turn 81 in two days....
Then Thursday was the start of the end.... We had an amazing
lesson with an amazing dude! He was so prepared! He did his homework and read
the Book of Mormon and highlighted it! I know some members don't even do that!
He wrote his baptismal date on his whiteboard in his office and he started
teaching his wife. He understood why the priesthood needed to be restores and
he is just perfect!
But our companion has had a cold for the past few days. But
is got exponentially worse during this lesson, but we had an appointment with
Bishop so we went to that. Then it got so much worse! So about 7pm we decided
to go to the hospital. By the time we got there Elder Kim could barely breath! I was worried.
Will after two CT scans, and MR, and a bunch of blood tests,
we found out he has pneumonia and had to go home. It was really sad! We spent 5
hours in the hospital that night and it was the start of the end ;(
Even though we were only companions for 7 days I love him so
much!
Friday we had Elder Yamashita come to our mission. He is a
member of the 70. We spent 6 hours with him and he was awesome and I learned a
lot!!!!!!!!
Then Saturday we went to the hospital again and Elder Kim
went home, hopefully he can return in 2 weeks! I will miss him!
Then Sunday we didn't do much! Just some planning, church,
and some proselyting!~
Over all an amazing super fun busy week!!!!!!!
